Walk to Emmaus
Yesterday’s journey to Emmaus is every day’s journey. We get up, we do whatever it is we do to get the day moving forward. We’re on the road to Emmaus. What we don’t know is that there’s a strange and elusive presence walking along side. This stranger asks us “What things?”
What does the day bring that makes us forget that Jesus is risen every day, not just one Easter a year but Easter every morning. We all have a story to tell. We all need to get something off our chest. Jesus knew this and knew that this thing, this weight, this worry will make us forget that he died for us every day, not just once a year . We all have a story to tell to Jesus sometimes known as Joe.
