A cavalcade of stars. A stroll through the decades with some 25 or 30 of KoG’s super-talented members. And a surprise guest to rock you into the ’50s.

Whatever your age, you’ll love the antics of the “celebrities” at the fabulous King of Glory 50th Finale, coming up Saturday, November 22, at the Omni Dallas Hotel at Park West. This lighthearted, fun-filled evening will take you back from “American Idol’s” Kelly Clarkson to Dick Clark and the Beatles. The multimedia music and comedy production will end with a sock hop and music from the “Happy Days” era.

This celebration of the past half-century will rekindle memories of jukeboxes and poodle skirts as soda jerks and period waitresses serve up premium burgers, sundaes, and cherry cokes in a malt shoppe décor. You can dig out your leather jacket and white shoes, roll up your jeans, and ponytail your hair in honor of the fabulous ’50s. Have your photo taken in a ’57 Chevy. Then rock ’n roll into the night.

The 50th Finale is for the whole family. Teens are welcome to join the party. The fun starts at 7 p.m.

The Omni Hotel is located at 1590 LBJ Freeway, at the intersection with Luna Road. Free valet parking will be available, as well as carpooling from King of Glory. If you wish to carpool, please call the church office at 972-661-9435.
