Adult Education Program Series
Six Week Series beginning October 5
King of Glory’s adult education program will offer a dynamic series on Sunday mornings to further explore the issues discussed when Dr. Martin Marty spoke at King of Glory in September. Hot topics will be debated and tough questions asked as we follow on from the issues raised around religion, politics, interfaith relationships, and what this means for us living in Dallas. This six-week series begins October 5 at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome.
Looking Back with Prof. Jack Holl - Sundays, November 2 & 9
Former Kansas State University history professor and King of Glory member Dr. Jack Holl will speak to the adult forum on Sunday, November 2 and 9, at 9:30 a.m. His presentation, “Lutherans in America: Past, Present, and Future,” will look at religious, cultural, and political dimensions of Lutheranism from colonial times to the present. His discussion will center on the future of our church, building upon themes raised by Dr. Marty.
