2010 Jr. High Mission Trip »
What is REVOLUTION? That is the new name for the Confirmation ministry (grades 6–8) at King of Glory! The word REVOLUTION means to bring about change in something. That is what Confirmation is about here at King of Glory…bringing about change in the lives of our young people. It's about encouraging our Junior Highers to explore their faith and their relationships with God and then to apply these new things learned to their everyday lives. Yes Confirmation is about head knowledge, but it is also about letting God into our hearts. That is what REVOLUTION is about—letting God into our hearts and minds and then letting that change our lives to live for God!
Sunday School
Join our Sunday morning weekly gathering at 9:30 a.m. as we enjoy some lively and fun Biblical exploration! Bob Wilson and Jim Allen are your tour guides for the 6th and 7th grade journey while Beth Hutchinson is the guide for the 8th graders. They are an amazing team who love young people and know how to have some fun while creating an awesome learning environment! So join us Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the Junior High Room (room 264) for 6th and 7th graders in the Activity Center and room 249 for the 8th graders!
Wednesday Evening
Wednesday evenings from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. in the Fall and Spring are the central focus of our Confirmation program. Confirmation is a three year process involving large group teaching time, small group time, and of course…FUN! This year's Wednesday evening activities resume on September 2. We gather in the Activity Center and we look forward to seeing you there!
