General Guidelines

  • Supervision: Children and youth must be supervised by responsible adults at all times.
  • Setup & Cleanup: You’re responsible for setting up your own space and returning it to its original condition. All decorations must be removed, and rooms left clean.
  • Sanctuary Setup: Setup changes in the Sanctuary require prior written approval.
  • Craft Activities: If using tables for crafts, please cover them for protection.
  • Deliveries: We’re unable to accept deliveries on your behalf.
  • Capacity: Must not exceed room capacity limits set by the City of Dallas Fire Marshall.
  • A/V & Music Equipment: May only be used with prior approval and when a church-approved technician is present.
  • Food & Drink: All food service must be arranged through approved caterers. No cooking is allowed outside the kitchen. Alcohol is not permitted on the premises (except for wine used in communion) without written approval.
  • Decorations: Must comply with church guidelines. Nothing may be attached to walls without written approval.
  • We maintain a smoke-free environment.
  • Sales: No items may be sold during your event without prior written approval.
  • Security: Security or traffic control may be required for larger events at the renter’s expense.
 

Insurance & Liability

  • Outside groups must provide a Certificate of Insurance naming King of Glory Lutheran Church as an additional insured.
  • A signed Release and Hold Harmless Agreement is required before your first event.
  • You are financially responsible for any damages or excessive cleanup required after your event.
  • Lessees assume full responsibility for the safety and conduct of all event participants.

  • Reservations are confirmed once the form is received and required payments received.
  • Priority Use: Church ministries and activities take priority. Outside groups are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
