In years past, long-time member Betty Johnson worked tirelessly on our property to make the flower beds look beautiful and keep them maintained. Two years ago, when Betty could not continue, the Facilities Committee stepped in to show some love with new plants and shrubs, building on what Betty started.
To help keep this going, a new ministry has been started called KOG Garden Angels. The group consists of members with a passion for flowers, flower bed maintenance, and helping with extra loving hands in and around our exterior property outside of weekly lawn maintenance.
Four or five times a year they spend a couple of hours planting, trimming perennials, and/or feeding the plants around our property to keep them healthy and thriving. Thank you to the volunteers who help with this ministry!
